We want you to feel confident ordering your new wig, hair topper or hairpiece from Stylonic.
We understand that choosing the right colour, size and style online isn't always easy. That's why we allow you to carefully try your item on at home, rather than requiring it to remain completely untouched.
Please read our returns policy carefully before ordering. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. 14-Day Right to Change Your Mind
For online purchases, you normally have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive your goods, without needing to give a reason.

Please include your order number and let us know that you wish to cancel/return your order.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling, you should send the item back within the required timeframe.
Can I try the item on?
Yes.
We want you to be able to assess your new hair in the same way you would reasonably assess it in a shop.
You may gently try your wig, topper or hairpiece on indoors, in front of a mirror, to check the fit, colour, style and appearance.
To help us ensure the item remains suitable for resale, please:
- Try the item on gently and only for the time reasonably necessary to assess it
- Do not wear it outdoors
- Do not wear it for a full day
- Do not cut or alter the hair
- Do not colour or chemically process the hair
- Do not heat-style the hair
- Do not use a wire or metal brush
- Keep the item free from makeup, perfume, smoke and hair-product residue
- Wear the supplied protective liner/hairnet underneath the item when trying it on
- Keep the original packaging and tags
- Return the item in an appropriate condition for resale
The item should not be treated as though it has been purchased for everyday use during the assessment period.
2. Return Postage
Change-of-mind returns
Stylonic offers free delivery on your original order.
If you decide to return an item because you have changed your mind, the cost of returning the item to Stylonic is the customer's responsibility.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been received and processed.
Stylonic cannot accept responsibility for items that are lost or damaged while being returned by the customer.
Where you have validly exercised your statutory right to cancel, your statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
3. What Happens If the Item Has Been Used or Handled Excessively?
We understand that a careful try-on is necessary when purchasing hair online.
However, if an item has been handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and functioning, it may have lost value.
Examples include:
- Wearing the item outdoors
- Wearing it for an extended period
- Cutting or altering the hair
- Colouring or chemically treating it
- Heat styling
- Brushing it with a wire or metal brush
- Applying styling products
- Returning it with makeup, perfume, smoke or other product residue
- Returning an item that has been significantly tangled, matted or otherwise damaged through use
Where excessive handling has reduced the value of the item, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect that loss in value, where permitted by law.
We will assess each return individually and will not make an automatic deduction simply because an item has been carefully tried on.
4. Wrong Size or Colour?
Choosing the correct shade or base size online can be difficult, so we're happy to help.
If you need a different colour or size, please contact us.
Our exchange service
We offer a free exchange within 30 days of delivery, subject to the item meeting our return conditions and availability.
For exchanges:
- The customer is responsible for returning the original item to us
- Stylonic will cover the delivery cost of sending the replacement item
- There is no restocking fee
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability
- The replacement item must be the same or equivalent product unless otherwise agreed
Before returning your item, we can also provide a free colour-match consultation via WhatsApp to help you choose a more suitable shade.
Please contact us before purchasing another item if you're unsure about colour or size. We're happy to help.
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:
- Faulty
- Damaged
- Incorrect
- Not as described
- Or with another issue that means it does not meet your legal consumer rights

Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the issue.
Where the problem is confirmed to be our responsibility, Stylonic will cover the reasonable cost of returning the item and will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

6. Items That Cannot Be Returned
Certain items may be excluded from cancellation or return rights where permitted by UK consumer law.
These may include:
Made-to-order or personalised items
Items that have been made specifically to your requirements or personalised for you may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.
This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Sealed hygiene items
Certain accessories supplied in sealed packaging may not be returnable once the seal has been broken where this is necessary for health or hygiene reasons.
For example, this may apply to certain clip-in extensions or accessories.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the item is faulty or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
7. How to Start a Return

We'll normally respond within 24 hours with the next steps.
Please do not send an item back without contacting us first, as this can delay the processing of your return.
8. Return Packaging
Please package your return securely so that it is protected during transit.
Where possible, please use the original packaging and return the item with:
- Original tags
- Protective liner/hairnet
- Accessories supplied with the item
- Original packaging
Please ensure the packaging is suitable for postal transportation.
9. Refunds
Once your returned item has been received, we will inspect it to confirm its condition.
Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay and within the applicable statutory timeframe, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Although refunds are normally processed by Stylonic within 5–7 working days after the return has been received and inspected, the time taken for the money to appear in your account can depend on your bank or payment provider.
10. Original Delivery Charges
Stylonic provides free standard delivery on orders.
Where a customer has exercised their statutory right to cancel, the applicable refund will include the standard delivery charge where one was actually paid. If a customer selected a more expensive delivery option, we are generally only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
This does not affect our free-delivery offer.
11. Returns After the 14-Day Cancellation Period
Our 14-day period is your statutory right to cancel an online order.
After this period has expired, we may still offer our 30-day exchange service for eligible wigs, toppers and hairpieces, subject to availability and the conditions of this policy.
The 30-day exchange service is an additional Stylonic customer service benefit and does not replace or reduce your statutory rights.
12. Our Commitment to You
We want returns to be straightforward and fair.
We'll always aim to deal with returns reasonably and consistently, while ensuring that returned hair products can be maintained to the standards our customers expect.
